This landscape of ethereal beauty is located in between Skardu, Gultari, Kharmang and Astore Valley, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Northern Pakistan and is accessible only during the summer season. Standing at 13,497 ft, it ranks among the highest plateaus in the world. Deosai National Park is home to majestic beasts mainly the brown bear, the snow leopard and the Himalayan ibex and it also contains a large and exquisite species of flora.
Sheosar Lake ( Blind Lake) also rests amidst the park at an elevation of 4,142 metres.
