A reminder of a glorious era and current residence of the royal family, Nagar Fort is one grand fortress located in the south of Chitral. Offering its visitors a glimpse into the history of Chitral, its culture and norms, it keeps the traditions alive to date. Originally built as a winter house in the early 1900’s by the then Mehtar, it is accessible through a suspension bridge and encompasses a wide array of well-maintained gardens blossoming with the scent of summery hues.
